Human Swine Flu A(H1N1) - Anti-Virals/Tamiflu

Treatment of Human Swine Flu with Tamiflu

The only current effective treatment for the current strain of human swine flu are two anti-viral drugs called Tamiflu and Relenza

In order to be effective they need to be taken early on in the disease process - preferably a soon as the risk of infection is encountered - or within the first few days after symptoms show. This slows down the replication of the virus - and allows the body to develop anti-bodies to fight the virus.
